Bucket List trip

When people are making their bucket list I think everyone should try to put the Hawaiian Islands on that list.  Hawaii is a beautiful set of islands in the middle of the ocean that is filled with rich history and natural beauty.  While there it is very relaxing and the islands are not very big at all so you can drive almost anything while there.  Even if one does not want to spend the money on all of the activities and tours, nothing will beat just a regular day on the beach, soaking in the beautiful water and landscape.  When making that bucket list make sure you have a trip to Hawaii at the top!

Shopping in Hawaii

In Hawaii one does not really want to go shopping.  When there you will learn that everything is a higher price compared to the mainland.  With this Hawaii being many islands in the middle of the ocean, shipping cost drives up the prices.  From gasoline to clothing, prices are noticeably higher compared to where I was from. The link provided will go more in-depth to show you what food prices are like on the Hawaiian islands.

Activities from Hawaii

While in Hawaii we did many activities that I recommend everyone should do when visiting Hawaii.  There was one afternoon where we took a boat out to the world's second largest sandbar.  Once there we, we all had a cookout and had volleyball net set up to play a few games.  After spending a few hours there, we took the boat to a near by coral reef.  Here is where we went snorkeling.  This site was breeding ground for turtles and also for small sharks, which we saw both.  Another day we learned how to go surfing. Also there was a day where we went zip-lining down a mountain.  And lastly one night we all went to an authentic Hawaiian Luau with fire dancing.

Overview of Hawaii

Last summer I went on a trip with some friends to Hawaii.  We went for seven days and visited three different islands.  This was one of the best trips I have ever been on.  The water and the landscape was extremely beautiful.  While part of the United States the Hawaiian culture is different from the mainland.  When in Hawaii one will learn things usually cost more due to everything having to be shipped there.  There was a huge time difference also for us since we were changing from eastern time, which was very hard the first day or two.
